Homes have been left uninhabitable on the New South Wales Mid North Coast after a severe flooding event in late February.

A number of homes were inundated in Red Rock, Corindi Beach and Upper Corindi, located north and northwest of Coffs Harbour, with more than 500 millimetres of rainfall in some areas.

Some houses are uninhabitable, with varying degrees of damage. Furniture, whitegoods, bedding and farming equipment have been destroyed or damaged.

GIVIT is working with the NSW Government and our charity network to ensure people and communities impacted by the flooding have access to essential items and services when they need them most
