About us
GIVIT inspires generosity to meet real need
At GIVIT we love helping people in need. We’re a national not-for-profit that partners with local charities and organisations to connect those in need with generous donors, ensuring that Australians experiencing hardship receive the essential items and services they need, when they need them most.
Our unique online donation platform allows you to give your way. Whether you’d like to donate money, items or time; our platform gives you the power to help a family recovering from a bushfire, a mum and her children impacted by domestic and family violence, or a young person living with disability. With GIVIT, the choice is yours.

How GIVIT started
GIVIT was founded in 2009 by Juliette Wright OAM. As Juliette’s baby son grew quickly, she struggled to find a local charity that needed her unused, good-quality baby clothing.
She discovered that while many charities were overloaded with unrequested or poor-quality goods, there were essential items they desperately needed, such as sanity products for women escaping domestic violence, or steel-capped work boots to help unemployed dads get work.
Juliette knew there had to be a smarter way to give. And so, GIVIT was born!
What we stand for
Our purpose is to match generosity to real need through an online platform.
Our mission is to change the way people give by inspiring an online network of givers.
Our vision is to have a positive impact on the lives of people and communities in need through effective donation management.
How GIVIT works
GIVIT's online donation platform connects support organisations with generous donors. Organisations place requests on GIVIT for items, vouchers or services to meet the needs of the people they're supporting. Donors can then then give items, money or their time to meet those needs.
