GIVIT works with 4,800  charity partners across Australia. You can either give locally by searching for what’s needed near you. Or you can donate the money towards a Christmas request. 100% of that donation goes to buying the item for the person in need.

During Christmas, many families and individuals struggle to make ends meet and can't afford Xmas gifts. However, that is not the only need during the holiday season.

Organisations request Christmas donations of groceries, household essentials, clothing etc so the family has leftover funds to purchase Christmas presents. Find an organisation to donate toys for the Christmas season with GIVIT. The first step is to ensure Christmas gifts are needed by the organisation near you. Visit GIVIT’s "What's Needed" page, to find organisations, near Brisbane for example, that have requested Christmas gift donations.

Here’s how to find a request that matches what you’d like to give:

• Use the Location filters to find an organisation near Sydney or Melbourne for example in need of toy donations for Christmas
• Complete the online form to submit your toy donation offer

Once submitted, you’ll connect directly with the organisation that made the request to arrange item delivery.

If there’s no local request for charity Christmas gifts on the "What's Needed" page, you can use the donate items form to submit your offer into our online warehouse. Over 4,800 registered support organisations can view our online warehouse and reach out if they need your Christmas donation.

When you drop off your item, ensure you hand it to a representative from the charity. Avoid leaving items outside unattended, as someone may damage or steal your donation.
