GVIT can help you find the best way to help make a difference. Besides a money donation, you can help by donating a physical item or by volunteering your time during the holiday season. Here are some ways in which you can support people in need this Xmas:
- Help by giving the items needed immediately or by funding an item request on the What's Needed page.
- By joining as a corporate sponsor, your workplace donation can help provide support to those who need it the most during this season.
- Donate money. 100% of money donations are used to buy essential goods for Christmas.
- Donate your time. If you’re short on funds this time around, you can pledge your time in person or even online to help those in need.
- Donate an item on GIVIT’s Online Warehouse. Physical christmas gifts can be donated to families in need.
Can I donate to a donation drive, like providing holiday meals to struggling families or toys for children?
You can search our What's Needed page for charities near you requesting goods such as physical kids' toys. Using the category filter, choose a product category like ‘Groceries & Fuel’ or ‘Toys & Play Equipment’ to see what physical goods are needed near you. You can choose to donate non-perishable groceries or grocery vouchers and indoor or outdoor play equipment.
If you can't find a charity near you requesting physical donations, you can offer your donation to our Online Warehouse, and organisations can reserve your offer if it's needed.
