Recipient is a single mother of four children (aged 3, 6, 8, and 9). On Friday, 7 February 2025, Their home was struck by lightning, resulting in a devastating fire that completely destroyed our home and belongings.
This disaster has compounded what has already been a challenging period in their lives. The family have faced significant upheaval, including domestic violence, and have worked hard to rebuild a safe and stable life. Losing their home has set them back in ways that are overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.
They are currently a medico-legal manager and full-time law student, balancing work, study, and parenting on their own. Despite their best efforts, replacing everything they have lost is an immense challenge.
