With our Back to School Appeal in full swing, we recruited some of GIVIT's resident experts to give you the lowdown on what kids need most as they head back to school this year.
Let's get Aussie students back on the same page this year
The past 12 months have been difficult for many Australians, but it's been especially tough on the 1.4 million children and young people living in financial hardship.
Your generous donation of items or money will help ensure kids have everything they need to thrive in 2021. The most requested items include exercise books, stationery, book lists, school bags, lunch boxes, drink bottles and laptops. Also needed are school shoes, school uniforms, and vouchers to buy these items.
The need for donations doesn't stop once kids head back to school. Rather, that's often when schools, charities and community organisations get a clear picture on just how urgent the need is for various items.
