As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Aussie communities are struggling with the constantly evolving financial and emotional impacts. Many are dealing with the pandemic on top of existing challenges, including recovering from natural disasters such as the Black Summer bushfires, severe storms, flooding and tropical cyclones.
The stress is bringing communities close to breaking point, as people find themselves unable to afford everyday items like food, bedding and school supplies for children learning from home.
The good news is, you can help. NRMA Insurance and RACV have partnered with GIVIT to get urgently needed items to people and communities who need them, as quickly as possible. By joining the appeal you can help us make an even bigger impact.

- Groceries
- Whitegoods, such as fridges and washing machines
- Beds, mattresses and linen
- Digital devices, books and stationery for children learning from home
We’re receiving new requests every day, so view the list in real-time to find out exactly what’s needed.
You can help by donating specific items, or by donating money we can use to buy the goods.
Have something to give that's not listed above?
No worries. Upload your items to our online warehouse! You'll need a photo of the item(s), you'll need to tell us whether you can drop it off in your area or need it collected, and you'll need to commit to holding onto the item for at least two weeks to give organisations a chance to see the listing and contact you.
