At the time Cyclone Seroja hit, life was already stressful for this mother who was fleeing a domestic violence situation. They were working at the time in healthcare and felt overworked, resulting in a nervous breakdown when she was diagnosed with cancer. Now unemployed for 12 months and struggling with her mental health, she is living out of containers with her son and his housemates.
