Art supplies needed to assist people to heal from childhood trauma and/or family/domestic violence

As a family/domestic violence legal service, we see many clients for legal matters as well as non-legal social support. Many clients present with layers of trauma such as childhood, adult, institutional and intergenerational trauma. One way to assist clients to heal from trauma is through art such as painting, drawing and sketching. Art therapy is a very useful tool to assist someone in their recovery of trauma as well as improve self-confidence, self-esteem and overall emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
